Best Sushi
3 reviews of some top notch sushi restuarants.
1) Tomoe Sushi
You'll have to wait for a table at this Greenwich Village restaurant, but the wait is worth it. Amazingly fresh and generous scallop sushi and yellowtail and scallion maki are among my favorite choices (at very reasonable prices.) Somewhat barren setting, no reservations.
2) Yama
Three separate locations in Greenwich Village all offer generous portions of sushi at reasonable prices. Classier decor than Yama with only slightly higher prices.
3) Jeollado
This East Village restaurant serves both Korean and Japanese food. Their seaweed salad is among my favorites.
